Component Removal and Replacement

7. Rotate the long shaft with one hand to

locate the Y-Axis Drive Gear clamp

screw. Loosen but do not remove the

screw.

8. Grab a hold of the drive gear with one hand and pull metal shaft out with the other.

9. Remove the drive gear and replace it with a new one.

10. Reinstall the parts that were removed.

11. Once the machine has been repaired and the Y-Axis Belt has been tensioned you

will need to Square the X-Axis Arm.
