Draining the

Discharge the old oil through the sump drain hose (attached

althe

Always

observe the old oil

removed. A yellow/gray emul·

sion indicates the presence of water

Oil

Filter

When removing

the used oil filter, you may lind it helpful and cleaner

punch a hole

the upper and lower portion of the old filter

it into a container before removing

it.

lessen spillage. A small style automotive filter wrench should

removing the old oil filter. Place some paper towels and

a plastic bag around the filter when unscrewing it

Inspect the old oil filter

no leakage around the new oil filter

oil.
