Filling the Oil Sump

Add fresh oil through the oil filler cap on the valve cover.

After refilling the oil, run the engine for a few moments

while checking the engine's oil pressure. Make sure

there is

leakage around the new oil filter

from the

oil drain system, and then stop the engine. Then check

the quantity

oil with the dipstick. Fill to, but not over,

the high mark on the dipstick, should the engine require

additional oil.
