Problem

Verification/Remedy

1.

Check to

see

that the

shut-off

valve

at

the

fuel

tank

is

ON.

2.

Inspect

the

fuel

pump for

12

volt

and

to

see

if

it

is

pumping.

Pump water out

of

the

bottom of

the

fuel

tank(s),

change the

fuel

filters,

and

bleed

the

fuel

system.

4.

Check exhaust

system

for

some type

of

blockage

such

as

carbon buildup

at

the exhaust

elbow.

Check

for a fault

In

the muffler.

Check for a collapsed

exhaust

hose.

Check drive belt tension.

Perform

an

output check

a voltmeter at

the

B +

terminal

on

the alternator.
